Who we are

This website is run by Henan Huayi Import and Export Trading Co., Ltd. (HUAYI Moulding), the export company of our door casing and moulding factory in Henan, China.

What the enquiry form collects

You fill in your name, company, business email, country or region, the product you are interested in and your message. You can also add your buyer type, material, quantity, model, profile size, target delivery date and finish.

When you send the form, we also save the page you sent it from and its title, the page language, the page that brought you to our site, any campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), the time you sent it and the version of this notice you agreed to.

We do not save your IP address or browser details with your enquiry. To stop repeated automatic submissions, the website keeps a one-way scrambled form of your IP address for 10 minutes; it cannot be turned back into the address. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in the form.

Why we use it

We use your information to answer your enquiry, discuss your specification and samples, and prepare and follow up on a quotation. The page and campaign details tell us which parts of the website lead to enquiries. We do not add you to a newsletter.

Legal basis

We handle your information because you asked us for information or a quotation, which are steps before a possible contract. We also have a legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and following them up.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records and the related emails for 3 years, then delete them. If your enquiry leads to an order, we keep the order records for as long as the law requires.

Who processes it

Only our sales staff and website administrators can see your enquiry. Two service providers handle it for us:

• Website hosting: Hostinger. The website and its data are stored in a data center in the United States.
• Company email: Alibaba Cloud Mail, in China. A copy of each enquiry is emailed to our sales team.

We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.

International transfers

Because of these providers, your information is transferred to and stored in the United States and China. Data protection law in these countries may differ from the law where you live.

Cookies and website statistics

The website uses technically necessary cookies, for example to keep our staff logged in to the website administration.

We also use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages and links lead to enquiries. It records, for example, the pages viewed, the website or campaign link that brought you here, your approximate location and device type, clicks on our WhatsApp, email and phone links, and when an enquiry form is started or sent (with the enquiry reference number, never your name, email or message). Google Analytics uses cookies for this. Google provides the service and may process the data in the United States.

If you are in Europe (the EEA, the UK or Switzerland), these statistics run only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Elsewhere they run by default. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; your browser keeps the choice for 180 days.

While you browse, your browser also remembers for that visit which website or campaign link brought you here, so that an enquiry you send from another page can tell us. This is deleted when you close the tab, and it is not kept for visitors in Europe unless they accept cookies.

For these statistics, the legal basis in Europe is your consent; elsewhere it is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used.

If you choose a language other than English in the menu at the top of a page, Google Translate translates the page in your browser. Your browser then loads Google’s translation script and sends the page text to Google, and a cookie named googtrans remembers your choice until you close the browser. Choosing English again removes it. Google handles this under its own privacy policy.

WhatsApp and email links take you to other services, which follow their own privacy rules.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it to follow up with you. Email sunny@huayimoulding.com or carol@huayimoulding.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.

Complaints

If you are not happy with how we handle your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
