Product overview
Raw particle board, sanded and ready to face
BR-1 is pressed from wood chips. The chips are dried, screened into fine and coarse particles and coated with resin, then formed into a mat with fine particles on both faces and coarse chips in the core. A hot press cures the board, which is then cut to size and sanded.
The density is 730 kg/m³, and the glue is E0, E1 or E2 to suit your market. The sanded face is a flat base for melamine paper, laminate or veneer; for a ready-faced board, see BM-1.

-
Wood is cut into chips, dried and screened into fine and coarse particles.
-
Resin-coated particles are spread in three layers: fine on both faces, coarse in the core.
-
A hot press squeezes the mat to its final thickness and cures the resin.
-
The board is cooled, cut to size and sanded smooth.
