Solid pine baseboard, primed ready to paint
BSW-1 is made from solid pine. The boards are kiln-dried, planed flat and ripped to height, then shaped and sanded on a moulder. A gesso coat, sanding and a white primer give a smooth face for the final paint. Each length is solid wood, with no finger joints.
Standard sizes are 60 or 70 mm high and 12 or 15 mm thick, in 2000 or 2440 mm lengths or to your order, held to ±0.8 mm. Moisture content is 8–12 %.

Solid pine boards are dried, planed flat and ripped to width.

A moulder shapes the edges and the face profile and sands the strip.

A thin gesso coat goes on through a die shaped like the section, over the face and both edges.

The gesso is dried and sanded smooth along the whole length.

A white primer coat finishes the skirting. It is ready for the final paint.
